Roosevelt N. Rogers, III
Pastor
On April 20, 1976, in Tampa, Florida, Pastor Roosevelt N. Rogers, III was born to Mr. Roosevelt Rogers, Jr. and the late Reverend Brenda J. Rogers-Edge. He grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Paxon High School in 1994. He continued his studies at Florida A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management in 1999. Pastor Rogers is the proud husband of his college sweetheart, Tarisha M. Hinson, and they have two beautiful children, Akaylah and Trenton. In February 1999, he accepted a call to the ministry from Pastor O'Hara C. Black. Since that time, he has faithfully served at Old Jerusalem under the leadership of several spiritual leaders who have mentored him for the mission he’s currently embraced and walking in.
As an associate minister he served as the Old Jerusalem Youth Director, Men’s Ministry Leader, and Director of Protocol for the Northwest District of Florida Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Old Jerusalem M.B. Church and 1st Assistant to the Overseer of Protocol for the Northwest District of Florida Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. He is a firm believer that in order to perform everything that God has called us to do, the body, mind, and spirit must be in peak condition. Pastor Rogers formerly worked for nearly 14 years as an outreach coordinator at Florida State University College of Medicine. Pastor Rogers also worked as a GED/TABE test prep consultant at Tallahassee Community College. He is currently employed with the Florida Department of Health in Gadsden County as a Tobacco Prevention Specialist.
Under Pastor Rogers' leadership, the church purchased 13.3 acres of land, replaced the roof, and expanded the fellowship/dining area to accommodate approximately 100+ people. Recently, the church completed a sanctuary refurbishment, a new lobby with restrooms, and audio and visual upgrades throughout the church.

Pastor Rogers aspires to have a stronger effect in the community by actively engaging local and state government authorities to achieve favorable outcomes in the communities where he serves. He also believes that the corporate evangelism is the function of the Body of Christ in connecting the Church and community to Christ.
